Job Description

The purpose of this position is to write, record, and mix original songs based on customer-submitted stories, lyric descriptions, and/or lyrics, and working within the genre descriptions, moods, and song lengths provided. We cover the costs of finding and processing customers, allowing you to turn your hobby into a career while working on your own terms.

Responsibilities

• Create new lyrics based on customer suggestions.
• Adapt customer-submitted lyrics into original music on occasion.
• Compose modern-sounding songs in response to customer requests.
• Record original music as soon as possible, using both live and digital instrumentation, as well as your own vocals.
• In a timely manner, mix original music with traditional standards.
• Send in your songs for review.
• Make any necessary changes.
• Give the team your best tips and tricks!

Compensation

• Our artists are classified as Independent Contractors.
• Payouts differ per song depending on genre, length, and add-ons. A standard three-minute song is worth $100 USD. A 3-minute acoustic song (only vocals, guitar/or piano, and 1 more texturizing layer) costs $70 USD.
• Artists are also able to receive tips from each customer.
• Our website and various social media platforms promote artists.
